Get onboard the APPLEDORE IV and take advantage of Lake Huron's blustery fall conditions as we push the schooner to really fly. This is a sail for those ready to join in and help the crew, learn about sailing, and hang on for a wild ride. Two dates only in 2011: Sept 3 & 10. Advance ticket purchase required.

In the event of dangerous weather that prevents the ship from departing, we will issue a rain check good for a future sail of equal value. Safety: The ship is a licensed passenger vessel commanded by a US Coast Guard licensed captain. The ship is equipped with life saving and firefighting equipment. Emergency procedures are explained before every departure. Tip: Bring an extra layer of clothing, it is always cooler out on the water!
