Alamo Heights High School Presents Into the Woods
The Alamo Heights High School Theater and Choir Students will perform the Musical Theater Presentation of Into the Woods on January 29th through February 1st. The shows will take place in the Alamo Heights Auditorium on Thursday through Saturday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 2:00pm. The musical was written by the incredible Stephen Sondheim and made its Broadway debut in 1987 and became a box office movie hit in 2014. The musical is tied together by a childless Baker and his Wife and their interaction between the storybook characters of Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and Cinderella as the journey Into the Woods. Although these are the childhood storybook characters we remember, there are very mature themes in this show and may not be appropriate for young children.
