The Five Points Brewing Company is hosting a four-pub pub crawl through East London as part of Tryanuary in an aim to familiarise folks with local, independent breweries in local pubs.
The tour will begin at a location near Bethnal Green tube station, and end at a pub that is walking distance from Shoreditch High Street Overground station, and also a quick bus ride back to Bethnal Green tube station.
We'll be featuring four interesting and varied pubs who stock great beer from independent breweries, particularly from breweries based here in London.
In the charitable spirit of Tryanuary, we will joined by a representative from St Joseph's Hospice (http://www.stjh.org.uk/) who will be talking about what they do at the hospice. This pub tour will be collecting a minimum donation of £3 from each attendee to go towards our local Hackney hospice, so please have cash or a cheque on hand.
Your tour guide will be our head of marketing and communications (and now pub crawls), Doreen Joy Barber, who has worked for our brewery since our first commercial brew, so feel free to ask her any questions in regards to our brewery and our beer.
This is a great tour for fans of pubs, locals of East London, folks who like good beer and for those of you who are interested in exploring different parts of the city.
For any questions, please contact The Five Points directly at 020 8533 7746 Monday through Friday, or via e-mail at info@fivepointsbrewing.co.uk.
