June First Saturday @ SMNHC
The Sandia Mountain Natural History Center (SMNHC), the Museum's offsite environmental education facility, will be open to the public on selected dates for hiking, birding, geocaching, and general outdoor enjoyment. Each month includes a special educational program beginning at 10:00 a.m. Gates are open from 9:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m.
June 5th Leave No Trace The certified "leave no trace" instructors of the SMNHC will teach the important steps necessary for proper outdoor ethics.
