Lecture - Over New Mexico by ultralight pilot Jeff Gilkey
Jeff Gilkey enjoys exploring New Mexico from the unique perspective of his ultralight trike. Using high-definition video and photography, he will take you on an amazing aerial tour of the southwest. On display will be some of our state's more famous geologic wonders (Shiprock, Mt. Taylor, Rio Grande Gorge) as well as some lesser known hidden treasures. The unrestricted open cockpit view presents our beautiful state in a way you have never imagined.
Jeff Gilkey flew hanggliders for 10 years in the '80s and '90s and has been flying trikes since 2004. He has logged over 800 hours in his Aerotrike Cobra on cross country adventures into nearly every corner of New Mexico with many extending into Colorado, Arizona and Utah.
