ACTion: Ecuador 2010 Showcase, "Poco a Poco"

After spending 24 days on a journey throughout Ecuador- engaging with local communities, learning Andean Mask Dance, and teaching in local schools- 25 Theatre Artists are bringing their adventure to the New York City stage.
The results will be surprising, unexpected, hilarious, touching, honest and raw. These artists will explore storytelling with dance and song, monologue and dialogue, readings and emotional outbursts. They will touch upon a wide range of topics as they weave together a story that can only be created... "Poco a Poco."

TICKETS:
* Tickets are available for sale at the door on a first-come-first-served basis. $15.00 for a matinee, $20.00 for an evening performance (with discounts for students, seniors, artists, and DAT alumni). NOTE: The special Sunday Brunch Matinee will also be $20 at the door. All tickets purchased in advance, online, are sold at a discount and will ensure that your seats are reserved.
* If you choose to purchase a sponsor ticket your name will be added to the program as a featured sponsor. If you wish to remain anonymous, please email info@dramaticadventure.com at least 7 days prior to the performance you will be attending. All sponsor tickets must be purchased by August 1st. NOTE: By becoming a sponsor ticket holder, you are helping subsidize the cost of tickets for the average theatergoer, making Dramatic Adventure Theatre accessible to all.
SPECIAL PERFORMANCES:
* THURSDAY PREVIEW MATINEE - This performance (Aug. 5th @ 3:00pm) is PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN, donations will be taken at the door. Get your tickets online to reserve seats in advance.
* THURSDAY NIGHT TALK-BACK SHOW - Your ticket to this show (Aug. 5 @ 7:00pm) includes a free 20 minute post-show talk-back with a select group of actors and the directors representing each of these 3 exciting short plays.
* FRIDAY LATE-NIGHT SHOW - Your ticket to this show (Aug. 6 @ 9:00pm) includes one free drink. After this show we will be playing Traditional Ecuadorian Music during a special meet and greet with the cast and crew.
* SUNDAY BRUNCH MATINEE - At this show (Aug. 8 @ 1:00pm), general tickets will be $20 (the evening show rates will apply) and will include free coffee and one complimentary breakfast item. (We will have available donuts, muffins, bagels, juice, and mimosas!)
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:
* All performances are designed for an english speaking audience & are suitable for both children and adults
* The performance is approximately 1 hour, 20 minutes in length and will showcase 3 short plays with no intermission between them.
* Latecomers will be ushered to their seats between each of the short plays.
