You are invited to Old Dog Haven's first benefit dinner and auction!
We are having this fundraiser to provide a boost to the needs of the over 180 dogs currently in the care of Old Dog Haven and want to have some fun while doing it! This is an event for the dogs, with the dogs, and because of the dogs. Your favorite Final Refuge dog may even be at the auction.
Old Dog Haven is a small group of volunteers with a large network of foster homes throughout western Washington. Our goal is to provide a loving and safe home for senior dogs abandoned at this fragile stage of their lives. Volunteers take these dogs into their homes and ODH provides them with all needed medical care. Then they are either adopted out or remain in a permanent Final Refuge hospice home if they are too sick to be rehomed, with all of their lifetime medical bills paid by ODH. We also assist owners in finding new homes for their senior dogs through our website and referrals. Old Dog Haven is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization and all donations will be tax deductable. Our tax number is 65-1249528.
Tickets are $50 for an evening "gone to the dogs".
We hope you will join us in our mission to increase the number of senior dogs saved in 2010/2011!
Note: There will be silent auction followed by dinner and a live auction. A cash bar and free refreshments will be available all evening. There will be several entrees to select from (grilled salmon, chicken tarragon, vegetarian stuffed shells and a vegan option of stuffed peppers with veggies) please indicate your preference when you make your reservation. Room packages are available at the Holiday Inn for all auction attendees. Please indicate that you are part of the Old Dog Haven auction when you make your reservation.
