Internal Monologue: A 1 Person Revival in 4 Parts.

Northwest Actor's Studio
Seattle, WA

The show is an ensemble created, movement based, piece about the disjointed and sometimes violent process of personal reconciliation and healing. It has it's funny moments, but generally it is a fast paced, introspective piece. Onstage, four women, dressed exactly the same, reenact the mind of one person, a man. They speak over each other, finish each other's sentences, take turns being the random voices of that life this man deals with. They discuss his memories, his dreams, his urges, and the ways he loves and hates himself. It is dark territory, a mind filled with shame, regret, malicious violence, and suicidal tendencies. But every time the darkness becomes too much, it overflows with tenderness, one self-realization after another that this man (and therefore these women) deserves love.  Presented by Emerald City Scene.
