The hilarious and tumultuous journey of two Little League coaches through an entire season, from their first tentative meeting to the climactic championship game.
Don is the rough, blue-collar, win-at-all-costs veteran coach, and Michael is the newcomer, a corporate executive who's never played baseball before. Over the course of exhilarating victories, heartbreaking defeats and interminable rainouts, the two men battle over how to lead the team.
A clever comedy which asks the question: how should we raise our children, and what does it mean to be an American man?
NOTE: The performance on August 21 at 8 pm is closed to the general public. This will be Theatre Alliance's 2010-2011 Season Gala Opening!
