Threat + The NYC
The Peoples Improv Theater New York, NY
First, Threat: Stephen Booth, Matt Donnelly, Jim Festante, and Rebekka Johnson show you what three strange men and one scrumptious lady can achieve together without a script, and just how funny that is. Seriously though, the men are quite peculiar.
Then, The NYC: New York City is the most diverse place on earth, brimming with culture and excitement. Then why are all those teen dramas taking place in California? The Big Apple now has its own fully-improvised weekly episodic teen drama, a la The OC or Dawson's Creek, except it's live, improvised, and the acting doesn't suck. The Village Voice calls the show "an accurate, hysterical homage to TV teen dramedy tropes by way of live longform comedy." The NYC: The City's Full Improvisational Teen Drama. Because California Sucks!
