Snoqualmie Valley Festival of Music
Enjoy a summer afternoon surrounded by beautiful music and mountains at the first Snoqualmie Valley Festival of Music August 7 & 8 at North Bend's Mountain Meadows Farm.
Fusing energy and elegance, John Chmaj's Cascade Jazz Quintet will kick off the festival at 4 p.m. with fresh takes on jazz classics by George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Billie Holiday. Local Maestro Harley Brumbaugh's 101- member Voices of the Valley chorus will follow, then at 7 p.m. the Vardi Chamber Players' electrifying debut featuring Mozart, Brahms, and Dvorak and "some of North America's best musicians playing amongst the elk and eagles."
Bring blankets for the amphitheater lawn or purchase premium seating near the stage. Mountain Meadows' gourmet caterers and servers will offer fine food, wine and other beverages for sale, plus free parking.
Proceeds to benefit Snoqualmie Valley Arts (SVA) which hopes to provide more family-friendly Arts events and showcases for local artists.
