Katzelmacher

The Side Project Theatre
Chicago, IL

Fassbinder's classic 1969 film was originally a 1968 play. Violence simmers under the surface of a small community when the presence of a "guest worker" disrupts the lives of its inhabitants and exposes embedded prejudices. Jesse Weaver directs a cast of 10 in this highly charged, environmentally presented piece.

Note: Please be advised that due to that nature of the show and the seating configuration, no late seating is allowed. We are 1/2 block east of the Jarvis Red Line. Street parking is also available. Please allow ample time to secure parking.
