American expatriates in current-day Paris live the dream life. Until the synagogues burn once again. Debbi and Charlie are an interfaith couple. When Debbie, the Jewish wife, tries to protect a French Jewish employee at her husband's company, both Charlie's career and the couple's marriage are jeopardized.
A discussion and light refreshments follow the play reading.

8 Days, 8 Locations--Continuum Theater, a new Chicago Jewish performing Arts Organization, produces The Chicago Jewish Play Reading Festival. The festival features 8 contemporary Jewish plays, read by professional actors in 8 locations around the Metropolitan Chicago area. Various synagogues and community organizations partner with us by hosting the readings in their buildings and promoting the festival to their community.
The Chicago Jewish Play Reading Festival 2015 is supported by the Breakthrough Fund: An Innovation of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago, and a grant by JCC PresenTense Chicago.
