2010 Stand Up for Kids!, to benefit Dane County CASA; featuring the Second City Improv All Stars
The Second City Improv All Stars, a world-class improv comedy troupe from Chicago, will perform in Madison at the historic Orpheum Theatre on Thursday evening, June 17th, at 8:30 p.m. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. All proceeds from this event will benefit Dane County CASA, Inc., a Madison-based non-profit organization that provides community advocates to abused and neglected kids in Dane County.
A local DJ will perform and a cash bar will remain open after the comedy performance for a full evening of entertainment at the Orpheum.
For those who wish to purchase VIP tickets, there will be a VIP reception to precede the comedy performance, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The VIP reception will feature a cash bar, decadent dessert buffet, and a silent auction -- all proceeds to benefit Dane County CASA. Tickets to this portion of the evening are $50, and include admission to and select seating at the Second City Improv Troupe performance to follow.
Tickets may be purchased through Brown Paper Tickets, or at the Orpheum Box Office, located at 216 State Street, Madison. Tickets may also be purchased through the CASA office -- 261.9910.
