Cultural Omnivores by Off Center Dance
Off Center Dance is at it again for the sixth contemporary show of new works by local dancers and choreographers. Included in this shows lineup is: angle of repose by Kelli Brown. This work was commissioned by the Boise Art Museum in a series called "The Artist's Mind" presented in November of this year. Brown will also present a new work entitled, "You Lot" featuring dancers Amanda Bromund, Samantha Buckmier and Sarah Uehling. The work is inspired by the Burning Man Festival and culture surrounding it. Other new works presented will include "Big Bang" by Savannah Sanderson. Sanderson is back for her second time, inspired by her interest in science and dance and how the two intersect. Other works will presented by Teresa Vaughan and Lydia Sakolsky-Basquill of project FLUX. Not sold on the brown paper site will be a dress-rehearsal and question and answer series on Thursday the 26th at 7:30pm.
