Chancel Arts presents Hot Nights of Jazz

The Centerpiece Jazz Band will be featured during three nights of dancing and listening at Kent Lutheran Church.

The Centerpiece Jazz Band is comprised of professional musicians and teachers at the non-profit Music Center of the Northwest together with some of the best Music Center students. Six sweet horns plus a hot rhythm section perform an exciting mixture of contemporary jazz, blues, latin and fusion charts. This unique band will get people dancing while providing a fun experience for both the casual and the thoughtful listener. The dates for the three evenings of jazz in 2015 are January 24, February 21, and March 21 from 8-10 pm. Doors open at 7 pm.

Proceeds from the concerts will go toward disadvantaged youth scholarships to attend classes at the Music Center of the Northwest.
