Our Dual of The Cool champion Jean-Paul Belmondo returns in this new 35mm print of French director Jean-Pierre Melville's Leon Morin, Priest. A midcareer masterpiece, only now receiving an American theatrical release, Melville accepted an offer to adapt Beatrix Beck's Prix Goncourt-winning novel Leon Morin, Pretre, a book Melville considered "the most accurate picture of the French under the Occupation."
