Club Oasis Concert: "Goat" (Singer-Songwriter Andy Rosen)
East Midwood Jewish Center Brooklyn, NY
You may not be familiar with his name, but you may have already heard the call of Goat, a New York-via-Cleveland singer-songwriter. Also known as Andrew Scott Rosen, he is often best known for lending his songs to TV and films ("CSI," "I Know What You Did Last Summer") as well as soundtrack music for Kia ads.
Goat has established himself as a definite presence in American pop culture with his singular blend of life-affirming, clever songwriting and unique melding of jazz-light blues. His third LP, "Twisted Heart," merges rough-hewn vocals and consummate keyboard with catchy choruses.
The son of baseball legend Al Rosen, Goat will hit it out of the park at East Midwood on March 10th, 2007, at 8PM.
