Hoppiness is the Platte River
Little Platte River Grant County, WI
We will paddle the Little Platte River in Grant County to learn about a riverine invasive species, Japanese hops. We will pause to help the Friends of the Platte River eradicate it from the stream bank for an hour or so, then repair to the Potosi Brewing Company and National Brewery Museum to appreciate a finer hop, Humulus Lupulus, used in Good Old Potosi Beer.
Note: Please provide your own boat. Appetizers will be provided at the brewery.
Cancellation Policy: We would be happy to refund your registration fee if you need to cancel up to 72 hours before the event. If you cancel within 72 hours, we are unable to refund the fee, but we will consider it a donation to the River Alliance and send you a receipt so it is tax deductible. If River Alliance cancels the event, you will receive a full refund. (Of course, if you want to make that payment a donation, we'd happily accept it.)
