In Rock 'N' Roll High School (1979) a group of rock-music-loving students, with the help of the Ramones, take over their school to combat its newly installed oppressive administration. Featuring a wonderful cast (including Clint Howard, Paul Bartel, and Vincent Van Patten) and great one-liners (Joey Ramone: "Things sure have changed since we got kicked out of high school"), Rock 'n' Roll High School eschews anything resembling "reality." Graduating from high school has never been so deadlyGraduation Day (1981) After a high school track runner, named Laura, suddenly dies from a heart attack after finishing a 30-second 100-meter race, a killer wearing a sweat suit and a fencing mask beings killing off her friends on the school track team one by one.
