Artists:
Jillian Rae is a multi-talented violinist, lead vocalist, and songwriter whose creative and dynamic style of violin playing, along with her lifelong experience as a performer, lend her an assured stage presence. She has an innate ability to create hook-laden tunes affirming the positives of life in the face of struggle and disappointment. In the past, she had been known to lend her fiddle chops in the Duluth-based band Two Many Banjos, and also spent some time fronting the local pop country staple, The Killer Hayseeds.

2014 saw the return of veteran songwriter Jenny Dalton. Jenny's new LP Black Water was written in the spirit of her final years in an extended adolescence marked with brooding existential questioning, the fallout of failed relationships, and diligent soul searching via connecting to nature. XTRAV 10 is Jenny's first show as a mother and since the Black Water 331 Club release show, at which she was heavily pregnant.

batteryboy is an orchestral folk/rock group featuring multi-instrumentalists Cobey Rouse and Eric Carranza, violinist Leah Ottman and cellist Hilary James. Their unique blend of strings, Rhodes, slide guitar and 4-part harmonies on top of rhythmic guitar, ukulele and Velvet Underground-esque drum beats adds a tense, emotional soundtrack to Rouse's emotionally personal lyrics. Cobey and Eric are preparing a stripped-down version of their epic sound for XTRAV 10.

2014 has Little Man (fronted by Chris Perricelli) releasing the full length album called "Original Face". The acclaimed new album explores self-realization and human emotion with zen-like precision. Exuding with passion and that rock star quality that really pulls you into a performance, Perricelli keeps growing leaps and bounds. Chris performs an intimate solo acoustic set at XTRAV 10.

Bora York is a five-piece band fronted by songwriter Chris Bartels and his wife Rebekah. Their first single since debut album Dreaming Free is called "Let Loose," and takes their sound to a new direction - tighter, funkier, and dancier, all while maintaining the ethereal dream-pop feel of the first album.  The second single, "Leagues," is an edgier taste, driven by a dynamic beat and featuring rousing electric guitar parts written and recorded by Cory Wong, easily one of the midwest's best guitarists. Bora York perform as a three-piece at XTRAV 10.

Phantom Tails are a deep-space doom-funk quartet hailing from Minneapolis, MN. Using vintage drum machines, analog synthesizers, fuzzed-out bass, and commanding guitar, they have developed a distinctive sound that makes you think and dance simultaneously. At XTRAV 10, Orion and Sergio play their first ever acoustic duo set.

Through hard work and dedication Courtney Yasmineh has taken her music not only all over the U.S., but around the world. At the top of her game, Courtney just recently completed a year of touring on the strength of 2013's "Wake Me When It's Over," and launched her newest LP, "Red Letter Day," at Icehouse in November 2014. The new nine-song album was recorded in New York City over the summer with musician-producer Charley Drayton, who is known for working with Fiona Apple, Keith Richards, Paul Simon, The B52s and more. Courtney performs with guitarist Jonathan "JJ" Benson at XTRAV 10.

INFINITIES are a four-piece rock band fronted by songwriters Morgan Alexy and Simon Calder, who perform a duo set and release an acoustic EP at this, their final XTRAV mini-fest.

XTRAV 10 also introduces the spectacular HANK, whose debut single, recorded at Brewhouse, is to be released the night before Christmas.
