The Vagina Monologues
"Spellbinding, funny, and almost unbearably moving . . . it is both a work of art and an incisive piece of cultural history, a poem and a polemic, a performance and a balm and a benediction." —Variety
The Vagina Monologues manages to empower women without alienating men, and expose sometimes devastating truths without engendering feelings of guilt or pity in the audience. The characters in this show are premium examples of feminine strength and diversity of experience.
The show will be benefiting two organizations; 10% of proceeds go to the V-Day 2010 Spotlight on Women of Democratic Republic of Congo, and the rest will go to The Elizabeth Stone House.
