This gripping documentary captures the intensity and emotion of the Israeli Defense Force's eviction of 8,000 Jewish settlers from their homes in Gush Katif, along the Gaza Strip, over five long days in August 2005. Using eight camera crews, filmmaker Yoav Shamir captures the events leading up to the disengagement from multiple perspectives, including that of General Dan Harel, leader of the eviction operation for the Israeli army.
