Cooks and Books with Mario Batali and Tom Douglas
May 4th, 7pm: Join Tom Douglas at the Palace Ballroom for a Cooks & Books evening with Mario Batali, in celebration of his new cookbook: Molto Gusto: Easy Italian Cooking With fourteen restaurants, eight cookbooks and a host of television shows, Mario Batali is arguably one of the most recognized and respected chefs in America. In his new book he celebrates what the world loves most about Italian food: pizza, pasta, antipasti and gelato, and gives multiple recipes for cooks to master at home. We'll be enjoying pizza from Tom's Serious Pie and other Italian bites from the book while sipping some great wine from the Antinori/Col Solare vineyards. Tom will interview Mario onstage (or will Mario interview Tom?) and we're all invited to join in the conversation. The 75.00 per/person cost includes all Italian nibbles that night, two glasses of wine and a copy of Molto Gusto, which Mario will sign for you. A cash bar will also be available during the evening
