Dos Fallopia: Flashback!
In celebration of 20 years together, Seattle sketch-comedy mavens Lisa Koch and Peggy Platt (Dos Fallopia) have unearthed some rare early sketches and songs for three nights only, April 15-17 at the Theatre Off Jackson.

Koch and Platt have mined material from some of their first Seattle shows together (Cabaret de Paris, Theatre Off Jackson), including "The Ballad of Tonya and Nancy," "Martina!  The Musical," "The Mamas and the Peter," "The Polka Dots," and more. Pianist/composer and long-time collaborator Bruce Hurlbut joins the duo, as they perform excerpts from these "lost" sketches-- it'll be a blast-from-the-past hoot!

Voted "Local Treasures" (Seattle Times, 2009), Koch and Platt have collaborated as sketch-comedy partners since 1990, and have toured extensively as Dos Fallopia.  Productions include "Pretty Girls, Not Too Bright," "Twin Sisters of Different Cul-de-sacs," and the ever-popular "Ham for the Holidays" series.  A London Connection review declared, "Could they be the long lost love of Doris Day and Divine?  Big, brash, and completely mad..." and a San Francisco Bay Times reviewer proclaimed,  "..two of the funniest, most irreverent comedians I've seen in years."

When they're not performing together, the two women pursue busy solo careers.  Koch has recorded four solo CD's, performs regularly on Olivia Cruises, is the composer of Off-Broadway show "27 Rue de Fleurus," and has garnered recent raves for her one-woman show "Demonstrate the Place of My Abode" at Seattle's Solo Performance Festival.   Platt is well known to Northwest audiences as a standup comic, radio personality, actor/playwright ("Fat Girl Follies," "Rocky Horror Show," "Holiday Survival Game Show"), and was most recently seen at the Solo Performance Festival in her shows, "Cooking With Peggy" and "Jam."
