Intuition III: A Benefit Gala

Join us for an ultimate alternative gala event, April 28, 2005 at My Moon in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Enjoy a multi-cultural mosaic of food and entertainment. Learn about Projectile Arts' mission and current activities. Experience world-inspired traditions and styles fused to create an eclectic occasion in support of the cultural arts.

Featuring an international dinner, free wine, cocktails, live and silent auctions, live music, performance, dj, dancing and more...
Dr. Benjamin Barber, acclaimed author of Fear's Empire, will present opening remarks. Entertainment includes Persian/alternative rock by Haale, bamboo flute by Joshua Geisler, urban performance art by Akim Funk Buddha, and other surprise guests. Added highlights include an exclusive fashion show by Nigerian designer, Babatunde, and world-electronic music and dance by Globesonic.

Intuition III will raise funds for Projectile Arts' ventures and production studio based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. This collective environment is a vibrant hub for the New York underground arts community as a space where artists can come together, use vital facilities and bring collaborative ideas to fruition. Projects include multicultural documentary films, workshops, exhibitions, performance events, and community network gatherings. Guests of Intuition III will learn about Projectile Arts, its mission and ongoing activities.
