Improv for Teens
Have zany fun and learn new skills with an improv class for teens!
This class will focus on the basic improvisation principles, including acceptance, cooperation and ensemble work. Both short-form (games) and long-form (scenes) improvisational styles will be covered, as well as a taste of musical improv. Great for students who have stage experience, as well as students who've never performed and want to learn. The supportive, open environment of improv is fostered by OKC Improv Managing Director Sue Ellen Reiman, a professor of acting and improv at UCO, who has more than 25 years experience acting and improvising around the nation.
Class meets from 7 pm - 9 pm (January 19 - March 16) and will be instructed by Sue Ellen Reiman.
Note: There will be no class the week of Valentine's Day, Feb 16
Class enrollment is limited to 15 students.
