Girls Incorporated of Alameda County's Annual Strong Smart & Bold Breakfast

Girls Incorporated of Alameda County and Event Chairperson State Assemblywoman Mary Hayashi present the annual Strong, Smart & Bold Breakfast. The Breakfast is a celebration of women in support of local girls.

This year Girls Inc. honors the recipients of the Strong, Smart, and Bold awards: United States Senator Barbara Boxer, Ophelia Basgal of Pacific Gas and Electric Company and Linda V. Deboe of Wells Fargo. These unique and inspiring women will be celebrated along with the Girls Inc. National Scholarship winners- outstanding girls from our agency who have recently won college scholarships.

The Breakfast will be held on April 5, 2007 at the Veterans Memorial Building in San Leandro. Last year's event generated over $57,000 for our local girls, and we hope to exceed that goal this year as we launch the final stage of Girls Inc.'s annual fundraising campaign.

Sponsorships are now available starting at $600 which includes a table for 8 guests and the opportunity to publicly honor a strong, smart, and bold woman in your life such as a friend, co-worker, sister, mother or wife. Individual tickets are $65 each.

Note: Tickets will be held at the door. Parking is available along Bancroft Avenue and in the residential area on Haas, Pala and Lee Streets.
