The Naked Eye Planets by Rebecca Tourino
Coyote REP presents the World Premiere of The Naked Eye Planets, an ensemble drama written by Rebecca Tourino and directed by Magdalena Zira. Community is at the center of The Naked Eye Planets, a drama following ten residents of a small apartment complex on the cusp of a rare astronomical phenomenon. Families implode, love is lost and found, and intimate crimes are revealed as strangers come together around the broken fountain in their courtyard and realize they aren't as alone as they imagined.
Rebecca Tourino is a playwright and actor living in New York whose other plays "Quickening" and "Goblin Market" received productions in Los Angeles by Lucid by Proxy and at Stanford University respectively. Magdalena Zira hails from Cyprus and has directed for NYU's Experimental Theater Wing and assisted Kate Whoriskey at South Coast Repertory.
