Indian Blood
Burgdorff Performing art center Maplewood, NJ
Indian Blood tells the story of 16-year old Eddie. He's suspended from school for making a "graphic" drawing in Latin class. Eddie blames his behavior on his Indian blood (his grandfather has told him he's part Seneca Indian.) It's Eddie's way of saying "The devil made me do it" but it's also his way of discovering the wildness inside him and defining his identity.
