Chicago, IL  On Friday, March 5th, 2010, The Flesh Hungry Dog Show presents the latest crop of young, edgy and ambitious queer musical artists.  Headlining the show will be fiercely relevant 8 Inch Betsy, along with spoken work/hip-hop artist Athens Boys Choir and the poppy electronic quartet from Lexington, KY, Spooky-Qs.   The show will also feature Bag of Fun prize giveaways from The Pleasure Chest, groovy movies, and special guest performers from Girlie-Q Burlesque.  DJ Sky spins between the bands, and Chicago rock impresario Gary Airedale hosts.  

The Flesh Hungry Dog Show starts at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5th, 2010 at Jackhammer (773-743-5772), 6406 N. Clark St. in Chicago. Jackhammer is a 21+ venue.  Tickets are $10 at the door and $8 online at

The mission of The Flesh Hungry Dog Show is to bring live rock and related musical forms to Chicago's gay community, and to provide a fun, alternative venue for bands with GLBT content and members, and bands that are GLBT supportive.
