Join the High Desert Bellydance Guild for our annual fundraiser as we celebrate the art form we love with music, dancing, food, and the Central Oregon premier of the BELLY, the bellydance documentary. BELLY is an intimate peek into the personal lives of several belly-dancers who have been profoundly affected by this unique dance form.

The belly-dancers in the documentary all come from different backgrounds and have different levels of experience, from full-time professional dancers to hobbyists. Some have been dancing for decades while others have only danced a few years. Belly-dancing fits into each of their lives in different ways, but the one thing they all have in common is that belly-dancing helps them face the challenges and celebrate the joys of their lives.

Cecilia, the documentarys director combines her story of belly-dancing for over 14 years with the stories of several other dancers to present a tapestry of experience that reveals an unexpected side to belly-dancing.

Note: No tickets at door. Deadline to purchase tickets is May 5th. No refunds unless entire event is cancelled. Please note that there is frontal nudity (not shown in a sexual way) and some cursing in the film. Parents and sensitive viewers be cautioned.
