Avi Vinocur & Patrick Dyer Wolf

Avi and Patrick were a pair of local songwriters in San Francisco that made friends. They started performing together frequently and hosted the Open Mic Night at the Brainwash Cafe. Patrick had an encroaching moving date to North Carolina, so one week they locked down and recorded an LP in Avi's living room.

Forest Sun & Ingrid Mages

San Francisco Bay Area troubadour and award winning songwriter, Forest Sun has regaled audiences around the globe from festivals to living rooms and back yards with his wealth of songs and stories, all sung and told with back porch ease and bonhomie.

Collaborations on his many records include the likes of such musical luminaries as Jolie Holland, Sean Hayes, ALO, and Hot Buttered Rum. Forest is also the founder of Painted Sun Records, home to Suns own six records, so far, as well as Minneapolis songwriter Alex Goldfarbs Magnifying Glass (which Sun produced), and Songs for Laura Vol 1 and 2, benefit compilation CDs, to raise funds and awareness for people with cancer and their families.

Emerging from her childhood among the rich cultural and musical history of Atlanta, Kelly McFarling has made her home in the thriving music scene of San Francisco. She sings with confidence, power and poise that belie her youth. Her songs are simple and down-to-earth-approachable, with lyrics that are honest and sincere. She has the rare ability to create music that is familiar and accessible upon the first listen, yet rewards repeat listenings with it's subtlety and depth.
