Flow, is an aspiring hip hop artist who gets caught in the web of his mother's deception. He falls in love with R&B sensation Dani Rice who helps catapults his career into the limelight only to have his mother's past contribute to an unimaginable climax.
His mother, Pastor Claire is an up and coming church leader whose own past is filled with indiscretions and secrets, which she wishes would remain buried forever.
Although she walks the path of the straight and narrow, she carries the darkness of a previous existence which eventually catches up with her. She imposes her commitment to the church on her son and he rebels by getting deeper and deeper in the very world she tries to shield him from.
