The first film from comedy troupe The Vacationeers mocks hipsters, mumblecore, and Hollywood fakery in a murder-mystery-comedy about a serial killer and the amateur filmmakers who are attempting to make the first "docu-thriller" about his exploits. Packed to the gills with indie bands, both on the soundtrack and onscreen, The Scenesters won Best Comedy at the Hollywood Film Festival.
