The Summer Chamber Music Weekend featuring Roy Bogas and Friends will be Saturday and Sunday, July 10-11, 2010. The Saturday concert will begin at 7:30 in the evening, and Sunday's will begin at 4:00 in the afternoon.
The eighth annual Summer Chamber Music Weekend is sure to be another sell-out performance of exquisite music. This traditional weekend of superb performances by pianist Bogas and outstanding musicians from the San Francisco Symphony is the biggest musical event of our concert season. Music lovers are invited to hear either one or both performances, for a fulfilling weekend of superb music performed by top artists.
In 2009, the ensemble had been expanded to include contrabass player Mark Wright, who played along with the other exciting musicians who had previously performed in Gualala: violinist Axel Strauss, violinist Amy Hiraga, violist Nancy Ellis, cellist Peter Wyrick, and, of course, pianist Roy Bogas.
Note: Tickets are $30 advance for each concert; $5 more day of concert (buy your tickets early!). Children and young people ages 7 through 17 are admitted free.
A two-day ticket for BOTH concerts can be purchased for $50 advance, but must be purchased directly from the Gualala Arts Center. Please call 707-884-1138 for details.
