Please join us for our first outdoor cooking class here on the mainland, in magical Carkeek Park! We are teaming up with the fabulous and local Northwest Solar Rover to bring you solar powered cooking with a view of the Olympic Mountains on a summer Sunday. We will share with you some of our favorite &nbsp;Japanese inspired dishes, and enjoy them in the open air, picnic style at the park. We will be discussing the simple basics of delicious Japanese food (one of our favorite cuisines ever!). Things like how to make fish-free dashi, how to make perfect sushi rice every time, what seasonings are essential to Japanese cooking, and how to make sushi like a pro. We will also share with you our favorite lessons learned from watching all of the veggie episodes of the original Iron Chef Japan. As with all of our creations, these meals are easy to prepare and will use simple plant based ingredients which are beneficial to our health and make tasty additions to our everyday meals. Get all your cooking questions answered, learn how to maximize the nutrition in your food, and take home beautifully crafted recipe cards to add to your cooking collection. There will be food to taste, beverages to sip, and new friends to meet in a festive outdoor cooking class overlooking our majestic Olympic mountains. We make healthy cooking simple, fun, and delicious. Join us for our first Fire and Earth Kitchen OUTDOOR cooking class here in Seattle, powered by our friends at Northwest Solar Rover.
