Organist David Troiano in Recital
This concert was scheduled originally for Sat. June 14, 2014. Due to major road construction in the area in June the concert has been rescheduled to the date of Sat. Nov. 15 2014.

NOVEMBER 15 - SATURDAY

01:00 pm Reception in Cafe San Giovanni (Church hall)
01:30 pm Concert in Church on the Casavant Op 1130 Organ

Join us at 12 noon on Nov. 15 for a Latin High Mass in Church. At 1:00 pm come downstairs for a reception in the Cafe San Giovanni (church hall - lower level) and at 1:30 pm join us for the concert in the church on the Casavant Organ - Op 1130 - featuring David Troiano.

David Troiano has been praised for the beauty of his voice, attention to musical detail, and his strong characterizations. His Lyric Tenor has been heard in a substantial amount of stage roles in both Opera and Operetta, and even several Zarzuelas, along with numerous Orchestral Concerts.

Mr. Troiano received a Master's Degree in Voice Performance from Wayne State University, and has taught Voice in several Detroit-area colleges and universities as an Adjunct Instructor. 2010 performances include several Art Song Recitals, Tenor Soloist in The Messiah, Tenor Soloist with the St. John Boy's and Men's Choir of Warsaw, Poland during their American Tour in August, and in Recital at the Marcella Sembrich l'v1useum in Bolton Landing, NY.

As a Concert Organist, he has appeared throughout the United States as well as concerts in Canada, Italy, Portugal, Finland, Sweden, Norway, and in some of the great Basilicas of Mexico including LA BASILICA in Mexico City. With particular focus on the organ music of the Spanish Baroque and the Spanish-Speaking World, he has given lectures and recitals at AGO Regional Meetings, Symposiums of Spanish and Latin American Music at home and abroad, and has published an article on this subject with the AGO Magazine (May '09).
