Flavors of Southeast Asia on Whidbey Island
Join us for our next cooking class on the magic isle, "Flavors of Southeast Asia", when we'll teach some of our favorite Southeast Asian style recipes, made 100% vegan, gluten and soy free. We'll be using some key ingredients in Southeast Asian cooking such as kaffir lime leaves, fresh turmeric, and a variety of fresh herbs to create some delicious and unique dishes. Come explore the simplicity of fresh spring rolls, the satisfaction of handmade dumplings, and the comfort of homemade curry. As with all of our creations, these meals are easy to prepare and will use simple plant based ingredients which are beneficial to our health and make tasty additions to our everyday meals. Get all your cooking questions answered, learn how to maximize the nutrition in your food, and take home beautifully crafted recipe cards to add to your cooking collection. There will be food to taste, wine to sip, and new friends to meet in a beautiful one-of-a-kind island home. This class will have a minimum of 8 participants and a maximum of 16.
