Cooperstown Summer Music Festival: Inspired by Italy
Verdi and Puccini's chamber music has the same singing qualities as their operas, but conveyed in the darker and more intimate voice of a string quartet. The concert also features Tchaikovsky's epic and exciting love letter to Florence, a little-known gem by Boccherini, and a new arrangement for flute and string quartet by David Ludwig.
