Class 1: for children in grades K-2nd
Learn about the science of your favorite animal by making art! Be inspired by the art in exhibits, sketch from specimens both indoors and out, talk with staff scientists who are artists and fill up your "Museum Sketchbook." Experience art using bottle-caps & clay, collage & printmaking, sculpt, sketch, watercolor and more.
Monday, April 14th Mammal Mayhem Tuesday, April 15th Herp Hoopla Wednesday, April 16th Arthropod Antics Thursday, April 17th Bird Bonanza Friday, April 18th Fossil Fandango If have children from grades 3rd-5th (Class 2)look for a separate Brown Paper Ticket listings.
Classes will meet from 9am-4pm, with lunch around 11:30am-12:15pm. Bring your own lunch and snacks.
YOU NEED TO KNOW Do note that before-care and aftercare are not offered. All campers must be picked-up by 4:00 PM. -Our camp instructors are teachers or scientists. They have all completed first aid and CPR. All instructors submit to a background check before teaching camp. -Please note that Museum staff cannot take responsibility for dispensing prescription or over-the-counter medications. -Campers are required to provide their own lunch, snack, and drink. Campers must wear appropriate clothing and shoes for active learning.
