Sally Sayh with The Danny Sinoff Trio
Sally Sayh is a native Californian who's been singing since childhood, yet she is a newcomer to the stage. Encouraged by friends and family to take the plunge, she has made a seamless transition to singing professionally. Her jewel like voice is at its best when framed in the genre of classic jazz standards and comes through as a gift to those in attendance. She has been working nightclubs and theaters in Florida for the past two years and is now expanding her horizon to the major markets and venues.
Sally will be performing with The Danny Sinoff Trio, a contemporary and progressive music ensemble that mixes jazz, blues and swing with soulful rhythms while remaining traditional to the American Songbook. Danny Sinoff plays and sings the classic standards by The Gershwins, Cole Porter, Berlin, Arlen and Van Huesen, just to name a few. The trio plays with sophistication and soul that compliments the entire package.
Sally Sayh is not Sally Sayh. Sally Sayh is Danny Sinoff on keyboards, Richie Iannuzzi on drums and Dave Zinno on bass. Sally Sayh is magic and synergy. When Danny snaps his fingers and begins the count, there is not only a coming together of flawless instrumentation, but also a melding of souls. When the trio emits the smooth waves of such favorites as, "Cry Me a River" and " You Go to My Head", audiences are gripped by the perfectly blended balance of voices and instruments. They beautifully compliment eachother, creating a mood which is likened to a spell being cast. The result is a heightened awareness imbued with precision and excitement. If this feeling appeals to you, come and experience Sally Sayh with The Danny Sinoff Trio, live at Stage 72, on Friday, November 1st at 9:30 pm.
