An Evening Of Firsts: Broadway's Finest Spill About Their First Time
But Wait! Not THAT first time. In an intimate evening of song, Broadway performers will share stories of the first time they were bit by the showbiz bug. Featuring Broadway's Carey Anderson, Stephen Bogardus, Kristy Cates, Matt Deangelis, John Michael Dias, Cheryl Freeman, Amy Justman, Gay Marshall, Mamie Parris, The Doo Wop Project and more! Hosted by Believe NYC founder, Jacque Carnahan, the evening will include songs and stories of the first inspirations that lead these performers to pursue careers on Broadway.
Proceeds from tonight's show will benefit The Believe NYC Scholarship Fund and PanCAN; The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. While very different in scope, both are dedicated to inspiring hope for the future. One through research and support for patients and their caregivers, and the other through providing young artists with funding to go towards further training in the arts.
