THE SMALL, DARK ROOM by Erasing the Distance
April 8, 9, 15, 16, 2013 at 7:30pm

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.  Discounts available for students, seniors and groups.  Mental health and theatre industry discount tickets available on April 9 and 15.

This WORLD PREMIERE created in collaboration with students from the University of Illinois at Chicago features the remarkable true stories of six Americans of Asian and Middle Eastern descent.  Even in the face of such challenges as depression, suicide, disability and abuse, they find glimmers of light, of hope, of transcendence.

Important Information
Please note that latecomers will be asked to wait for an appropriate time to enter the house and then directed to seats at the discretion of the House Manager.  DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE PROGRAMMING, ANYONE ARRIVING MORE THAN 10 MINUTES AFTER THE SHOW START TIME WILL NOT BE SEATED.

THE CUBS WILL BE PLAYING ON TUESDAY NIGHTS 4/9 & 4/16, SO YOU'RE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION.

Location/Directions
The Small, Dark Room is performed in the Hoover-Leppen Theatre, located in the heart of Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood on the third floor of Center on Halsted (3656 N. Halsted Street). It's accessible to the Red Line "El" and several major buses. If driving, you may find metered street parking on Halsted Street or Waveland Avenue, or you can park in one of the area lots at 808 W.
