The controversial and true story of Walter Süskind, a Jewish resistance hero who worked for the Jewish Council in Amsterdam during the Second World War. Through a mix of courage, guile, and luck he managed to manipulate a Nazi SS Commandant in order to save almost a thousand Jewish children from deportation to the death camps.
