FERNAND GABRIELLI in "A LOOK OF LOVE ON SAMMY CAHN" - 100 years.
Having been the last, not to say the only disciple of the legendary Sammy Cahn, Fernand Gabrielli pays tribute to his mentor and friend's 100th birthday in the very night of his death, occurred 20 years ago. Mr. Gabrielli will be accompanied by pianist Russ Kassoff, introduced to him by Mr. Cahn himself. Mr. Kassoff, who has worked with Liza Minnelli and Frank Sinatra, is one of the most brilliant accompanists of the American popular songbook ever. The very special guest star the evening is another friend of Sammy Cahn: the "Prince of Cabaret", Mr. Steve Ross.
