Mike Agostini is an aspiring stand-up comedian looking for a big breakthrough. Armed with a good amount of self-confidence, Mike signs up to participate in The Seattle International Comedy Competition to gain recognition and possibly fame. The travelling contest reveals to be more grueling than expected and profoundly mines Mikes confidence. While he slowly unravels, the stories of other contestants surface making this documentary the tale of other peoples success and one mans big failure.
