Join Amanda Cantrell for a morning of New Mexico fossil discoveries ranging from the baby pentaceratops airlifted out of the Bisti Wilderness last fall to amazing arthropods and prodigious plant fossils collected from central and southern New Mexico. The morning will include a tour of the paleoscience collections.
Amanda Cantrell is the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science Geoscience Collections Manager. An avid fossil hunter Amanda has participated in several field expeditions all over New Mexico. Her primary research interest is in Paleozoic arthropods but she has never met a fossil that she didnt like.
Limit 15 participants. The New Mexico Museum of Natural History & Science reserves the right to cancel any event that does not reach a minimum of 6 participants.
