"Muldaur sounds positively energized by this return to her roots and delivers one of the best vocal performances in her long and storied career." (Blues Source)
Fifty years as a performing musician is a mighty impressive milestone, and forty albums is almost unheard of. Maria Muldaur celebrates both accomplishments with a retrospective show that features her radio hits, fan favorites and recent explorations of American roots music, along with stories of her collaborations with the biggest names in music.
So much more than the seductive singer of the '70s pop classic "Midnight at the Oasis," Maria Muldaur is an acclaimed interpreter of blues, early jazz, gospel, folk, country and R&B. She first applied her magnificent voice and alluring persona to the Even Dozen and Kweskin Jug Bands but her passion for singing took her in many directions:  pop stardom, children's albums, and her 2001 GRAMMY- nominated Richland Woman Blues. Accompanied by her unforgettably great Red Hot Bluesiana Band, Maria will be revisiting old favorites and rarely heard gems from her vast catalog of songs.
