The Fontanelles:

The Fontanelles are proud to release, Strangers Please Take Care, their debut album. Drawing from dozens of songs and studio experiments, the result is a dense nine song album that wears its heart on its sleeve and turns the guitars up to eleven.

Vocalist Dave Mehling (of Portage) formed the group in 2010 with the then stranger and current guitarist over beers and a shared love of alt-country at the infamous 400 Bar in Minneapolis. Jason Mcglone and Beau Jeffrey joined in 2012 to reform the rhythm section.

Strangers Please Take Care  adds oddities and surprises to familiar territory - from the baritone saxophone solo on of "I Am The One", to the violin and brass breakdown on "Call Me Later".  The penultimate track, "Stranger" is an near eight minute tongue in cheek rock opera. Hilary James (We Are the Willows) and Jillian Rae joined the group to add strings, Kevin Gastonguay (New Sound Underground) added Hammond organ and some ethereal soul to Ghost.

"There is no posing, posturing or formula. Yet, at the same time, there is no shortage of memorable hooks, lyrics wise beyond their years, and simple, stunningly beautiful production."

Chris Trapper (The Push Stars)

Flasher:

Flasher is a three piece rock 'n' roll band from Minneapolis, MN.  (members of the Goondas)  They play stripped down and loud songs inspired by country, blues and the Beastie Boys.

Woodblind:

Wood Blind features the combo of Duluth mainstay and guitarist Jason Wussow and Los Angeles studio/touring bass player Veikko Lepisto. Wussow's credits include the bands Flux Skapacitor, No Room to Pogo, Yeltzi, Fuzzy Ellis and ownership of all-ages music venue Beaner's Central Coffeehouse in Duluth, MN.

Lepisto has worked with Mike Ness of Social Distortion, Royal Crown Revue and Bette Midler while on the West Coast. Teamed together they make acoustic ska à la 1960s' Jamaica and 70s' England. Their sets include traditional reggae, ska versions of classic rock and R&B hits, and original rocksteady numbers.
